WiSET 5th Anniversary Celebration Event, Tuesday 18 May 2010 5-7.30pm
We are pleased to invite you to help us celebrate five years of the Women in Science, Engineering and Technology (WiSET) team. The event will take place at Sheffield Hallam University, Stoddart Building, room 7138.

The team have come a long way in the past five years since joining the Centre for Science Education (CSE) and we have been able to raise the profile of our work significantly as part of CSE. Looking forward there is still lots more to be done to ensure that everyone has equal access to Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths (STEM) and the Built Environment - and we will continue to work on innovative and practical ways to embed gender equality in STEM and the built environment.
The programme for the evening is as follows:
17:00 Arrival and refreshments
17:15 Introduction of guest speakers: Ros Wollen and Sandi Rhys-Jones
18:00 Screening of a short film about a recent project
18:20 Presentation of awards
18:40 Cake cutting and light refreshments
You are welcome to bring family members, work colleagues and friends. Children are welcome but must be supervised at all times and will remain the responsibility of the parent/carer throughout the event.
